Hi,
I’m Kasia

UX/UI Designer with a strong engineering background. An architect by education and a graphic designer by experience, focused on user-centred design and business goals. I create valuable experiences through design that is both simple and effective.

An architect by education, a graphic designer by profession,
a product designer by choice.

It all started with winning an international architectural competition for the design of Zakrzówek Park in Kraków. That is where I understood that design is not only about form – above all, it is about the people who use it.

As an architect, I also worked on other user-centred projects, such as the Interactive Centre of Fairy Tales and Animation (an architectural competition), where I designed a child’s experience journey together with multimedia, and the autonomous Helio Smart Shelter bus stop with e-ink screens and photovoltaics, presented at the COP24 climate summit in Katowice.

For the last 7 years I have worked on graphic design for e-commerce and branding. Today I combine that experience with UX/UI and an engineering approach to problem solving.

I am currently exploring AI in a Google course, honing my skills with a mentor from Allegro, and in September I am starting an accessibility (WCAG) training.

In my free time I climb, travel and generally gravitate towards the mountains and nature. These passions teach me determination and a fresh perspective, which I bring to my projects. I am an optimistic person and I believe that good energy in a team is half the success of every project.

My strengths

Creativity

My head is full of ideas, but what matters most to me is turning them into a functional product. I approach design challenges like sport climbing: I break a difficult problem down into its components and iterate in search of the best solution. I have a lot of persistence to dig into a topic, but climbing has also taught me flexibility – if something doesn’t work, I change my “beta” to move the project forward and deliver real value.

Collaboration

I can take full ownership of a project and lead it from scratch, yet I see the greatest strength in collaboration. I love confronting my perspective with others during brainstorming sessions. I believe that exchanging ideas, questioning assumptions together and being open to feedback is what lets us move beyond our own patterns and create the most thoughtful solutions.

Curiosity about technology

Years of working in complex software environments for architects and graphic designers mean I learn new tools quickly and intuitively. I love learning and I am very curious about new technologies and AI. I like to experiment and test what they can do, taking from them whatever genuinely makes the design process easier and better.
